Jim Winblood
Founder & Chief Steward
Jim Winblood is an Entrepreneur and Chief Steward of several recruiting and staffing businesses in the “care economy” including Mom’s Best Friend of Dallas/Ft. Worth, Park Cities at Home, Vail Sitters and Scout Reference, a B-to-B SAAS company providing reference checking services for trust economy employers. He enjoys the challenges of entrepreneurship and has started and led multiple early-stage businesses. Jim is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Law and the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/economics with honors. He was the recipient of the OU President’s Medal and the prestigious Letseizer Award for outstanding graduate.
Jim was a Commander in the US Navy Reserve (Ret.). He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jim also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Global Heart Ministries in Plano, Texas. Jim is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors for Rainbow Days, Inc., a non-profit organization serving at-risk children. He was a member of the Dallas Young Lawyers Leadership Class of 2000. He has served as a Precinct Chairman for the Dallas County GOP. Jim is also a Member of the Dallas Roundtable and C12.
Most importantly, Jim stays focused on his faith and family. He and his wife Kim have two daughters attending college at BIOLA University and they are Members of Watermark Community Church.
